Sunshine + Shopping= Happy Weekend

M is going pheasant hunting with one of his best friends which leaves me the whole day to do some damage!  He!He!  I have been so good for the past several months with no shopping for me.  It's a beautiful weekend here and looks like the same for my TN family and friends.  I am so excited about seeing the sun for more than 2 consecutive days and shopping with my new girlfriends here.  One of my favorite stores ever is Anthropologie and they are coming out with a Bridal line in Spring 2011!!!!! How exciting for all my soon to be engaged friends.  Even though I have been married for almost two years (craziness) I still love to look at wedding stuff.  I will be making a stop at Anthro today BTW.  Post coming soon will be about my first skiing trip last weekend and I HAVE to post a picture of how shallow this house is.  I hope you all have a wonderful weekend! Love and miss all my family and friends! XOXO

Loving your body ?!?!

WOMEN VS THE SCALE

I came across this article last week in a recent issue of "Shape" magazine.  It had statistics of people who love there body and workout less tend to lose weight easier than those who workout all the time.  I found this very interesting.  I try to workout at least 4 times a week and I know I am always sooo negative about my body.  I also know that I do have so much to be thankful for.  It's such a hard battle in life especially for most women.  I have definitely noticed this past year or so not being able to eat anything and everything I want and I HATE IT!!!  I eat pretty good in general, but I splurge a little to much.  The magazine reported the first step in changing the way you feel about your body is to find one thing you love.  So here is mine this maybe a silly body part, but I love my wrists! They always look skinny to me.  Post your favorite body part today!

Happy Hour

My friend Hillary took me out for happy hour last night in Chinatown downtown DC.  It's a very fun area of the city! We went to Hotel Monanco first which is pictured to your left. It used to be an old post office built in 1839 and now it's this swanky hotel.  http://www.monaco-dc.com/  By looking at there website the rooms look so cool.  They were giving away free glasses of wine or beer. Are we Lucky or what!?!  After we finished there we went to Rosa Mexicano for dinner and of course a margarita. ROSA  It was a great time and can't wait for more.   Mike and I are going to check out the Botantical Gardens this weekend and the best part is it's FREE!  Have a great weekend everyone!!!

XOXO
